Services:
A Dermatologist visits Geraldton once or twice a month for consultations and minor procedures.
Phototherapy is available 3 times per week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 10.30am. Suture removal is also available on these days between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
This clinic is run by a registered nurse.
Appointments:
Appointments for consultations are made through our Perth rooms by phoning 6140 1000. A current referral will be required to obtain the Medicare rebate. Payment in full is required on the day of consultation.
A patient Details form is to be completed by each new patient which can be submitted on line by visiting the “information for patients” on this website.
Alternatively a new patient appointment pack containing the Patient Details Form will be sent to you when you make your booking. This will include a stamped, self addressed envelope. Please ensure this is returned to us prior to your appointment.
Phototherapy:
Phototherapy is artificial sunlight using ultraviolet type B and is used in the treatments of diseases such as psoriases, eczema, pruritis, mycosis fungoides. To access this treatment you will need a referral from your GP to the dermatologist and a commitment to three treatments per week initially. Payment for this treatment is covered by Medicare after the initial dermatologist consultation.
