Angie is a highly competent and compassionate Registered Nurse who takes pride overseeing the efficient running of Oxford Day Surgery. Angie commenced at Montserrat Day Hospitals in October 2016, bringing 22 years nursing experience with an extensive background in both military and civilian environments. This was predominantly in anaesthetic, theatre and recovery roles. Angie is also a certified lecturer who has implemented and delivered graduate and undergraduate nurse and paramedical science courses.
Angie commenced her journey with the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) as a Combat Medical Technician (Civilian paramedic), later moving to a theatre nursing role. From the RAMC, Angie moved to roles as a nurse educator and lecturer delivering course content, training and student support. After moving to Western Australia from the UK, Angie completed her Masters Degree in nursing. During this time she enhanced her nursing leadership, business development and gained a broader understanding of quality and policy processes.
Angie’s experience in her military and civilian roles has enabled her to lead a team who deliver high quality patient care and excellent customer service. Angie believes in the value of treating everyone with respect, kindness and regard.
