Dr Cherian is a graduate of the University of Western Australia. His interests lie in Procedural and General Dermatology, and he was the recipient of the Australasian College of Dermatology Founders’ Medal in Procedural Dermatology.

Dr Cherian is a Senior Clinical Lecturer for the University of Western Australia. He is currently the Director of the Mohs Surgery Fellowship training program at Oxford Dermatology. His professional Fellowships include the American College of Mohs Surgeons (FACMS).

He completed his Fellowship in Mohs surgery at Oxford Day Surgery in June 2013 and continues to provide a full dermatology and skin cancer surgery service with us.

A graduate of the University of Tasmania and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, Dr Borchard trained in Melbourne, Victoria. In the 2010 Australasian College of Dermatologists Fellowship Examinations she received the Travelling Fellowship, awarded to the most merit worthy candidate.

She completed her Fellowship in Mohs Surgery at Oxford Day Surgery in June 2012, and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery. In addition to skin cancer surgery, she has interests in general medical and cosmetic dermatology.

A graduate of the University of London, Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. In 2001 he completed a Fellowship in Mohs Surgery in Perth and has become a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery.

He has practiced in the UK from 2002-09 specialising in Mohs surgery and facial skin cancer surgery before returning to Perth in 2009. He has an MD from the University of London based on research achievements.

Currently he is Chairman of the Mohs surgery committee of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Tai graduated from the University of Melbourne and did his dermatology training in Victoria and the UK.
He is a Fellow of The Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) since 2009 after being awarded the college’s Travelling Scholarship as the highest scoring candidate in the fellowship exam.

Dr Tai completed his Fellowship in Mohs surgery in June 2011 and is highly experienced with skin cancer surgery and facial reconstruction, with over 5,000 cases of Mohs surgery performed.

He is an active member in the dermatology community taking on the role of Director of Training for the WA faculty of Dermatology. He is a visiting consultant at the Royal Perth Hospital and is well published in highly regarded dermatology journals.

  • Reconstruction with skin flap or skin graft
  • Skin cancer management including malignant melanoma
  • Skin disorders such as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis
  • Biologic therapy for inflammatory skin condition

Clin Assoc Prof Vinciullo is a medical graduate from the University of WA. He became a Fellow of The Australasian College of Dermatologists (F.A.C.D.) in 1986 and completed a Fellowship in Mohs surgery at the New York University Medical Centre from 1986-1988.

Clin Assoc A/Prof Vinciullo has since been in private practice as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon and an adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University of WA. More than 21 dermatologists from Australia, New Zealand and the UK have completed one year Fellowship training in Mohs surgery under his program direction.

Having been actively involved in research for more than 30 years he has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer reviewed articles in the medical literature and has been invited to write commentaries and to review submitted articles in many high profile Dermatology Journals including the Australasian Journal of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery and the British Journal of Dermatology.
